solas nua meets 4 times a year on Saturdays to exchange ideas of new designs and learn about new contemporary techniques from experienced tutors from all over Europe.
The meetings are workshops in February, April and September and a special Gala Demonstration in November.

The venue is at St Anne's Parish Centre. Strand Road Portmarnock

Debbie Davis Workshop

The workshop with Debbie was enjoyed by all, with plenty of useful tips and some new techniques, and Debbie took the time to explain things and help them with their designs. Unfortunately because of a clash with the AOIFA Demonstrators Course, several of our members were unable to attend.

Solas Nua is for members only, if you are interested in joining please note there is a waiting list at the moment and there are criteria to join. But please, send us your application and we will be in touch.

Membership 2027

Solas Nua membership for 2027 is now due at €100, at the Gala Meeting on the 21st November 2026 you can pay in cash or with Revolut.
You can pay online with your debit/credit card, paying by card will add a €2 handling charge, so €102 is payable.
